
UX/UI Designer
Help shape the app design and branding of a cutting-edge music app!
MyStage is an innovative startup dedicated to enhancing the connections between musicians and their fans. We are creating new revenue streams for artists, comprehensive music event listings for fans, and digital collectibles to support the music community. We need a creative UX/UI Designer to solidify branding and help design new features to bring our product to life.
We are seeking a motivated and imaginative intern to collaborate with our team, focusing on branding and app layouts in Figma. You’ll collaborate with our team to design and implement professional app layouts and other creative content that elevates our brand.
Primary Focus:
- Market research that set prioritization of features based on competition and customer personas
- Branding and enhancement of existing Figma app layouts
- Design visually appealing app features optimized for user engagement
- Perform user feedback tests
Equity Compensation:
$20–$30/hr in phantom stock, based on portfolio quality and experience level. This is an early-stage startup that just launched our MVP on the app stores. Working through investment conversations now to transition to paychecks.

Skills Required:
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma (or similar) for layout design.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for marketing materials (preferred), or proficiency with tools like Procreate or Canva.
- Basic understanding of design principles (e.g., layout, typography, color theory) and website usability.
- Framer experience desired to support website enhancement
- A portfolio showcasing ux/ui design and website implementation work
- Willingness to collaborate
Expectations:
- Time Commitment: Minimum of 15 hours/week, with more hours preferred. Flexible scheduling.
- Collaboration: Be proactive and communicative, working closely with the team on design and implementation projects.
- Portfolio: Submit a portfolio with examples of digital design and implemented websites for review.
- Academic Integration: Internship can align with class projects if allowed by your institution.
