Our team consists of 31 operations professionals and a total staff, including investors, of 49. PRINCO's operations staff works closely with the investment team providing support across a wide spectrum of functions, including administration, middle-office operations, technology, human resources, reporting and analytics, and tax. Our team ranges from veterans with decades of financial services experience to recent college graduates, and we heavily prioritize mentorship and an apprenticeship approach to professional development. PRINCO is a collaborative team that values open debate and independent thinking.

Operations Summer Analyst 

As an Operations Intern, you will gain exposure to a wide range of asset classes and investment types. You will work directly with all levels of the PRINCO staff with a majority of the time spent with the Operations team who is responsible for directing the daily processing and accounting of Endowment assets as well as monitoring and assessing operational risk with external managers. The Operations Intern will be responsible for collecting, verifying, analyzing and reporting key operations related information for a variety of projects. For example, one project's scope will involve a comprehensive review and analytical assessment of fund financial statements across a diverse portfolio of asset classes and global markets. In general, the applicant will play a role in continuing efforts to improve departmental operational efficiency through automation and increased use of technology. 

As an Operations Intern, you will be given meaningful responsibilities from your first day. There will be brief training sessions complemented by extensive on the job learning, as well as formal and informal mentoring.

Qualifications

In order to be effective, the candidate should be comfortable with learning and utilizing various investment platforms and applications such as Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will be in their junior year and have:

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills;
• Great attention to detail and accuracy;
• Ability to be flexible and work effectively in a team environment; 
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
• A strong work ethic and extremely reliable.

As of the date of this posting, the annualized salary range for this position is $70,000–$85,000.
