Marlboro Music Festival, one of the world’s premier festivals for chamber music, is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our summer team. From June 12 to August 26, 2025, we’re offering seasonal positions in reception, stage crew, and coffee shop—an essential part of our vibrant campus community, perfect for those passionate about hospitality and service!

The Coffee Shop plays a central role on campus, offering a welcoming space where musicians and staff can unwind, enjoy meals, and socialize. The role includes preparing and serving breakfasts in the morning and providing a relaxed late-night atmosphere. A friendly, professional demeanor is a must, as you’ll be engaging with both musicians and staff throughout the day.

Position: Coffee Shop Staff (with Café Manager)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, food, and beverages efficiently and with a friendly attitude.
• Assist in creating and maintaining two simple menus: one for breakfast and one for late-night snacks, with the opportunity to innovate or build on previous menus.
• Collaborate with the Festival Coordinator and Hospitality Director to plan and execute special events and evening activities for festival participants.
• Ensure a welcoming, organized, and vibrant café space for staff and festival participants.
• Contribute to the smooth daily operations and exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous food preparation and customer service experience preferred.
• A positive, flexible attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a tight-knit team.
• Passion for creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere in a social, arts-centered environment.
• Must be willing to stay on campus for the full duration of the festival.

Compensation:

• Competitive wage.
• Full room and board (single room on campus, all meals provided).
